Like everyone, I have made mistakes. I have known happiness and sorrow, success and disappointment.

Looking back now, I would not change the adventures that shaped my life, because each one taught me something about people, resilience, forgiveness, and love.

If my story encourages even one person to write down their own memories for future generations, then these pages will have served a purpose beyond my own life.

Every life has a story.

This one was mine. 

 

 

Peter Magner has lived and worked in England, New Zealand, and Australia. His career has included the Merchant Navy, international aviation with Air New Zealand, hospitality, manufacturing, food production, and business ownership. Above all, he considers his greatest achievement to be his family and the extraordinary experiences that grew from an ordinary life.
